Founder
Hello! I’m Joseph Roman-Torres, the founder of Brain Boosters Academy and a dedicated educator with 12 years of experience in education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English as a Second Language Education, a Master’s in Educational Technology, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership. As a state-certified educator in Texas, I have a deep passion for bilingual literacy and student success.
I created Brain Boosters Academy to provide personalized, engaging tutoring for students in grades 3-5, both in English and Spanish. My mission is to help young learners build confidence, enhance critical thinking skills, and develop a lifelong love for reading and writing. I believe in bridging educational gaps, celebrating cultural diversity, and equipping students with the tools they need to thrive academically and beyond.
